The Peace of Wild Things to you!
I am a nature-based, trauma-informed soul care companion and friend for humans and horses, a Monk in the World and a mystic in my heart. (Learn more about me here, bottom right of the page.)
I live in the country and practice a quiet, simple, contemplative lifestyle and have “… longed all my life to be able to listen as wild things speak.” (Belden C. Lane)
I listen and learn from many wisdom wells- 2 and 4 legged, fin and feather, earth, wind and fire- to create an elixir for your own spiritual wisdom and healing to unfold.
Since I was a wee, quirky little girl my spirit comes alive and I feel the most connected to God and my true self when I am in nature, making music and in the presence of animals. The earth is my monastery, and some of my best teachers and dearest companions have been animals! My beloved horse, Mighty Markus, was one of the best!
Being with horses in nature is my favorite spiritual practice, which has inspired me to partner with horses to help other women explore their own spirituality.
I love coming alongside others as a compassionate, non-judgmental listening presence, with or without the horses!
Divine Equines is the result of a convergence of my spiritual gifts and calling, love for people and horses and experience and training in the healing and equestrian arts.
I am dually certified as an Equine Professional and Practitioner in Natural Lifemanship Trauma-informed Equine Assisted Learning, a trained Spiritual Director, and trained as a Sexual Assault Response Network advocate.
I am also a graduate of Wichita State University with a Bachelor's degree in Special Music Education, a professional musician, teacher, and the owner of Noteworthy Music Studio where I have offered music education, mentoring, and coaching for over 40 years.
The horses and I and all of creation are here for you on your journey of soulular transformation and healing!
